Bookroll June 2013

I thought I’d start an occasional series listing the books I’ve read, am reading or have in the to-read pile. This won’t include literary criticism or book reviews, because that’s not something I feel comfortable writing, but it’s a piece of fun. And it may tell you more than you really want to know about me.

Finished recently:

  • The God Argument, AC Grayling
  • The Truth, Terry Pratchett
  • Tricks of the Mind, Derren Brown

On the bedside cabinet:

  • The Stuff of Life: Public Health in Edwardian Britain, W Hatchett, S Spear, J&J Stewart, A Greenwell, D Clapham
  • The Language Instinct, Steven Pinker

On the stack:

  • Intuition Pumps and Other Tools for Thinking, Daniel C Dennett
  • The Reason of Things, AC Grayling
