Another beautiful autumn day, so another walk in the woods to see what I could find.
I revisited a number of the sites from the previous fungal foray, and the fungi were quite different.
Most of the photos are long (up to 6sec) exposures using a small aperture to maximise depth of field. The camera flash was used to fill in some of the images.
This is a great collection of photos, the work of getting them right was well worth it.

Thanks – it was good fun trying out different ways of photographing small fungi and seeing what worked. I’ve now invested in a 40mm prime macro lens to see if that gives better results as well.
