Twa corbies

As I was walking all alane;
I heard twa corbies making a mane …

Twa Corbies II

I saw these two hooded crows squabbling at the Rest and Be Thankful, the mountain pass that the road to Argyll must cross after leaving Arrochar. Hooded crows are the northern race of common crow in Britain and the ones seen in Argyll.
I swithered about posting this image, because the birds are not in focus. However, the motion blur says something about the dispute between them, and I decided I liked it even if the heads and eyes were not sharp.
This image is a blend between the original and a monochrome version, both included below, and the more solid blacks seem to add to the menace of the encounter.
