Here’s more of the lilypad from a couple of weeks ago. I realised I had a good shot of the whole leaf which shows it in context.

One of the day trips when I was down in Englandshire last week was to Cambridge, where I dropped in to the University’s Botanic Gardens. More will follow from that visit, but here’s a flower of Haemanthus albiflos to be getting on with.
