The table at the house in Provence is an old, nailed door and it stands beneath a passionflower climbing over the loggia. The passionflower has now fruited and is losing the occasional leaf. This leaf was rearranged on the table to please my own eye.
Near Lille Europe TGV, but then we didn’t wander very far from it.
A town-centre brasserie closed on a Dimanche in Lille. But at least wandering around a closed town was more fun than Lille Europe TGV station.
This sign was the only thing I could find to like about Lille Europe TGV station, which otherwise induced in me an almost overwhelming nostalgia for Birmingham New Street in the early 80s. Thank FSM we’re returning via Paris.
