Bellanoch windows
There are two stained glass windows set in lancet openings in the south-west wall of Bellanoch Chuch, both dating from the middle of the twentieth century. The first is of the Nativity and is dedicated “To the glory of God and in loving memory of Mary A McVean and her parents, 1952”.
The second is of Christ in Majesty and is dedicated “to the glory of God and in loving & grateful memory of Elizabeth Grant wife of the Reverend Donald Grant Minister of this Parish from 1921-1944”.

Get off my nuts!
A statue in the grounds of the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens in Glasgow Green. I’m not sure if the boy is calling the squirrels or trying to repulse them.
The People’s Palace
A photograph from my perambulation this evening. Made all the more exciting by falling straight down a small valve chamber from which some bugger had lifted the cover.
This is the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens on Glasgow Green. It’s Glasgow’s museum of social history.
